                    Facilities & Services

The Home provides support for adults who are living with mental health difficulties, as well as, a
combination of mental health and other needs such as physical disabilities or recovery from
alcohol/substance misuse through the provision of nursing and residential care. Additionally, we
provide day care, enhanced respite bed/re-enablement with extra support to enable a planned
resolution for service users to return to their community setting. This is all aimed at tackling social
isolation, creating meaningful activities, and restoring lost independence.
Our person-centred approach ensures that every service user is treated as an individual and with
dignity and respect they deserve.
The service offers a range of studio rooms (with kitchen and ensuite shower) as well as WC
ensuite rooms over three levels. There is a passenger lift, chair lift, two communal lounge
areas, a dining room, an activities room, a wet room, shower rooms, bath and toilet facilities
as well as an independent skills kitchen area and outdoor courtyard space. A daily activities
program is in place and includes walks on the promenade with tea/coffee, cinema outings,
chair-based sports therapy, bingo, dominos, art and crafts, promoting residents to attend
community clubs and groups, themed events and parties.
