Description
Rivelin caters for 40 people in need of Residential or Dementia Care, with 38 single occupancy rooms and one room suitable for couples or multi occupancy. The home is spread over three floors with lift access. Rivelin has a relaxing, homely atmosphere where Residents feel secure, and where their loved ones enjoy coming to visit.
All rooms are single occupancy and Residents are encouraged to bring items from home if they wish.
The three comfortable lounges have stylish furniture, flat screen televisions which are beautifully decorated throughout, giving a cosy feel.
Whether Residents at Rivelin want to socialise with friends and family or have some quiet relaxation time, they can choose from three inviting lounges, there is also a recently refurbished dining room and a family room available for private times.
Rivelin has two passenger lifts and a secure patio area which is fully accessible for wheelchair user’s, in the summer months we have barbecue’s, garden tea parties for Resident’s and their families and friends.

Facilities & Services
We are committed to activity based care, promoting Independence to each Resident’s capabilities, we have an activity coordinator who provide a wide range of activities such as Spa Treatments ( Manicures, Facials, Foot Care) Baking, Preparing Vegetables, Setting Tables, Quizzes, Knitting, Sewing, Crafts, Flower Arranging Classes every Wednesday. Residents are supported to go out to purchase their own shopping. Rivelin also provide in house entertainment. We also work in collaboration with NAPA, The National Activity Providers Association, with whom we are also registered.
Food and drink are also an important part in all of our lives, and a particularly enjoyable experience at Rivelin. Our team of experienced staff ensure every meal is not only delicious but reflects each Individuals likes and dislikes and dietary needs. Rivelin have a 5 Star Food Hygiene Rating.
