Description
Lindsey Hall is a residential care home providing respite, residential and dementia care. It is located in Cleethorpes close to the seafront and other amenities. Beacon Medical Centre is also very close to the home and we are supported by a frailty nurse who is based there, the frailty team work closely with the care home and visit twice per week. Lindsey Hall can accommodate up to 78 residents across 3 separate areas. Clee is the main residential unit, this area of the home has 40 bedrooms and there are also 2 dementia units, Haven and Thorpe. Haven has 20 beds and 17 beds. We also have 5 large double bedrooms which are usually used for couples but can also be used for as a single occupancy room for anyone wanting the additional space.
Facilities & Services
The residential and dementia care units are separate from each other all units have their own dining areas, communal areas and lounges. Aside from these areas the home has a large communal area which is accessible to all residents within the home. This area is called “the street”. The street includes a Tea Room, hairdressers, a licenced bar, a cinema room, and an indoor bowling green as well as a Spa room. The home also has a private dining area which can be hired for private family meals by our residents and their family and friends. We also give people the option to hire out the bar area for private functions and offer to provide food for any functions which are booked.
These areas are used for activities is also a lovely space to use when the residents have visitors. There are also many outside areas including 2 secure courtyards and 3 other garden areas. The outside space is well maintained and includes an allotment area and greenhouse as well as raised flower beds. Many of the bedrooms on the residential unit have a patio door so that the garden areas can be accessed directly from the resident’s bedroom. Some residents choose to have their own pots for plants which they can manage and maintain themselves. There us also a memory garden which can be used by residents, relatives and staff as an area of reflection remembering those we have lost.
There are many activities going on in the home daily provided by the in-house activity coordinator’s supported by the care team. We also have access to a mini bus so that trips out can be arranged. The large areas in the home provide us with the space to be able to arrange entertainment within the home which is a regular occurrence. The activities include-

All bedrooms have a private en suite with all but 5 rooms within the home having a wet room. All bedrooms are spacious, they come fully furnished and have Wi-Fi and TV Ariel’s available as well as the option to have a private landline phone in each room.
All areas of the home are very spacious with the doors and corridors being wide so that all areas are fully accessible to all. There are many accessible toilets throughout the care home in all areas and there are also 4 accessible baths within the home.
The corridors are wide enough to accommodate electric scooters helping people maintain a good level of independence helping them to get around the large home without the need of staff support.
As we are close to all local amenities this means that residents are able to access local shops and the beach unsupported if this is their wish. There are at least 3 activities held in the home each day and the “street” means that we have a space big enough to hold party’s and provide entertainment for all residents in the home to be able to enjoy together. The large space also mans we can invite local schools to the home to carry out performances for the residents which also helps to create and maintain links with the community.
